It's an excellent solution, and there is no such thing as "purist" when backdating a Beetle.

Thanks for your comments guys. You're right GC, the dash vents do need welding up, and i need the steering wheel on the other side... Which i'do if i replaced my dash. The 69 latch is also too low on...
